The ‘Monster Jam’ Show coming to Madrid Rio this Thursday at 12.00
The super machines touchdown in the Vicente Calderón
The Vicente Calderón Stadium continues to host some of the biggest shows in the world. This time it’s the turn of ‘Monster Jam’ in the ‘rojiblanco’ den, following on from the Columbian pop start Shakira performance last Friday. The presentation for the event will take place on Thursday the 9th of June at12.00 at Madrid Rio (under the Puente de Toledo/Toledo Bridge).
Only a few days remain until the pure American motor show arrives for the first time in Madrid. The 11th of June will see the Vicente Calderdón welcome these stars of speed, acrobatics and bravery of the highest level.
‘Monster Jam’ is a competition divided in to two parts. The first is a pure speed race, with the winner being the truck which completes the circuit in the fastest time with the fewest penalties. The second part of the competition, the drivers will push their cars to the limits in 90 seconds, trying to impress the judges with jumps, spins, donuts, nose dives, and loops & twists that are hard to imagine.
The judges don’t only mark the jumps and the ability to clear obstacles, they also award points for style and execution of the tricks.
