Back to the grind after the break
Atletico returned to training in Majadahonda Sports City after two days of rest given to them by Simeone after the match against Mallorca on Sunday at the Vicente Calderon.
With the last game of the season coming up this Saturday at 21.00 in La Romareda against Zaragoza, the first team of Atletico Madrid returned to training after two days off given to them by Simeone after the difficult few weeks. In a session that lasted for about 90 minutes, the players started to work in the gym before going out on to the field in Majadahonda. Once there, the coaching staff prepared a circuit to improve the technical capacity of the players.
In the stands there was a very special visit. Students from Our Lady of Lourdes School enjoyed the session the players conducted and brought a touch of colour to the morning. Simeone could not count on all members of the first team whenever Koke, with the under 21s, and Filipe Luis, with the Brazilian squad, Mario illness and Falcao, with permission of the club, did not work with their peers. Dani Marquez & Coke from Atletico C and Samuel Villa, Atletico Madrid Youth Honor Division trained with them.
