The debut of Toby Alderweireld
Belgian international started his first Atletico game in Cornellà. Despite the result, the defender put in a good performance in the centre of defence.
Simeone played Alderweireld as a starter after the withdrawal due to the injured of Miranda, who had been a regular partner forming of Diego Godin. Toby completed 90 minutes of play in the visit of Atletico Madrid to Cornella-El Prat.
Last week the centre back played in both games for Belgium in the qualification camping for World Cup Brazil 2014.
