The Calderón welcomes the revelation of the League

• Levante arrive at the Manzanares in fourth place, despite two straight losses • The Valencians have never won at the Calderon

The league returns. Football returns to the Calderon with a game that is a metaphor for the season. Atletico will meet on Sunday a rival occupying the top four in the table, the position sought after by the Madrid club.  We will keep you up to date with every minute of the match at @ ATM_es.   Eleven games in to the season and Atletico find themselves ten points and seven positions behind Levante.  At home both teams have achieved the same points (12) and even the difference in goals for and against Atletico (+10) is higher than that of the Levante (+5). It is away from the Ciutat de Valencia Stadium where Juan Ignacio Martinez’s side has picked up the points that separate the two teams.   In the eight visits to the Calderon, Levante has never won, and only twice failed drawn (2004/2055 and 2000/2001). Altetico won comfortabley 4-1 last season. In addition, after remaining undefeated until the day 11, the Valencians arrive on the back of two consecutive defeats in the league against Valencia and Osasuna. Atletico also lost the last competitive match against Getafe, but then beat Egyptian Zamalek 1-4 in Cairo.   Atletico will be forced to change the starting lineup for the absence of Falcao. The Colombian striker returned injured from Colombia. The visitors are waiting for news on Del Horno, who has been working outside the group to try to recover from the soleus stretch in his left leg, which he picked up after the game against Valencia.
