The Calderón saw one of the 10 best goals of the past season

The Vicente Calderón witnessed one of the 10 best goals from the past season according to FIFA. The incredible scissor kick goal that Diego Costa scored last November 23rd against Getafe that ended with a 7-0 win was included by the international organisation in the nominees for the prestigious Puskas Award.
Now the fans will have to choose the 3 finalists through a vote that is already underway on the FIFA.com website. On December 1st, the three goals most voted by fans will be released and a new vote will open to decide the best goal from the three. The winner will be announced at the Golden Ball Gala on January 12th, 2015.
Costa shares the nomination with Tim Cahill, Marco Fabian, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Pajtim Kasami, Steph Roche, James Rodríguez, Camilo Sanvezzo, Hisato Sato and Robin Van Persie.
