The Appeals Committee partially upholds the clubs appeals and reduces the closure of the lower south stand to one match
The sanction will be in place for the next match against CD Leganés on Sunday 20 October and will affect every sector in this zone.
After the sanction from the Competition Committee of the RFEF to close the lower south stand for three matches, and a fine of €45,000, the club’s appeal has been partially upheld and the Appeals Committee has decided to reduce the sanction, shutting the stand “for one match and a fine of €3,000.00). The partial closure will affect the following sectors: 127, 128, 129 130, 131, 132 and 133”.
The partial closure will be in place on Sunday 20 October at 16:15 for the match against CD Leganés.
The club is aware that this decision will affect a large number of fans who behaved correctly, and for this reason, we have made the decision to refund the amount corresponding to this match for next season 2025/26, to the membership’s of those affected.
