Our team drew 2-2 against Levante on Saturday in the last league game of the season. Rodrigo and Camello were the goalscorers in a match in which Correa was sent off in the 48th minute.
Atleti drew 2-2 at Levante on Saturday after our team came back from a two-goal deficit in the second half. Rodrigo and Camello were the goalscorers.
Despite a good early chance for Lemar that was saved by the Levante goalkeeper, the home side took the lead after just five minutes through Cabaco. Our team reacted well and collected several chances inside the first half hour. Filipe Luis and Griezmann – on a couple of occasions – saw their shots saved in superb style by Levante keeper Koke. More chances followed, mainly through a very active Lemar, but the Levante shotstopper was in great form. However, luck was not on our side, and Levante doubled their lead in the 36th minute as Roger Martí found the back of the net.
Camello came on for Thomas after the break, but things got even harder when Correa was sent off very early on after a VAR review. Lemar made way for Vitolo later on, and some 20 minutes before the end of the match, Rodrigo scored an extraordinary goal to put us one goal away from Levante. The Spaniard put the ball in the back of the net following a fantastic left-foot strike.
We still had time to equalise, and Simeone made a very attacking-minded last substitution, as Mollejo came on for Montero. And it happened just before the 80th minute, when Camello capped off the perfect debut with the equaliser. The 18-year-old had scored in his first official match for Atleti. We tried to get the win until the end but the game ultimately ended in a draw.
