Solid win against Valencia

Atlético de Madrid beat Valencia in a tense clash in the Wanda Metropolitano thanks to Ángel Correa's golazo in the second half.

In the first 45 minutes, our lads dominated possession and had several half chances. However, Valencia defended very well and were organized in the back. Stefan Savic injured his hamstring in the 25th minute and had to be replaced by José María Giménez.

The second half was similar to the first, but our side produced more quality chances and the goal came in the 59th minute. Correa's shot went in the top corner and the Wanda Metropolitano went wild. 

During the final minutes of the match, our lads controlled the game and held out for a 1-0 win.
