Siqueira, seven stitches
Three red and white players ended up with problems in San Mamés: Siqueira, Godín and Giménez. The Brazilian was the worse off, with seven stitches.
Three players ended injured against Athletic. Siqueira was hit with Aduriz’s boot on his left ear, play in which he was substituted by Lucas. Godín finished the game with a hit to the nose from a jump with Giménez, while Giménez received a kick from Muniain. The medical report of the three is as follows:
- Siqueira: deep wound in the left ear which has required 7 stitches.
- Godín: nose trauma.
- Giménez: trauma to his right leg.
