Following our draw at Mestalla, Diego Pablo Simeone spoke about the match.
Diego Pablo Simeone analyzed our first league match of the season.
“All of our matches against Valencia are like this. We’re very similar teams,” Simeone said. “I think both of us tried to win the match with our subs.”
Our boss was proud of the team’s hard work, after the 120 minute match in Tallinn against Real Madrid last Wednesday.
“After 120 minutes of hard work, the boys responded well in a tough stadium.”
Simeone praised Valencia’s manager and was content with the draw.
“Marcelino is a great coach,” he said. “To get a point here in Valencia isn’t easy. We tried to seize control of the match and we’re leaving with a draw.
