Simeone: "You have to work hard when you play Leganés"
Our coach spoke to the press about the upcoming LaLiga match against Leganés.
Diego Pablo Simeone spoke to the press after the final training session of the week about the upcoming match against Leganés.
"We’ve had to play some important matches. We played in Valencia, Rome and Bilbao and we faced Sevilla and Chelsea at home. We lost to a great team. We’ve been working hard and we’re excited to play this upcoming LaLiga match", he said. "We want to play a good game against a team that’s very solid. Leganés has a coach who knows how to read matches. I’m sure it’s going to be a tough match, like all matches against Leganés are."
Simeone is confident the match will be a tough one, since Leganés has only conceded three times this season in LaLiga.
"Leganés has a couple of new players who can do what their coach expects of them. They know what they have to do to compete. Our matches last season and the preseason friendly show that you have to work hard against Leganés. Like we always say, we’re going to try to make the game comfortable for us so we can create chances. Leganés has a great defense and has only been scored on three times. They’ve been working really well in the start of LaLiga."
