Diego Pablo Simeone was happy after his team's victory against Juventus in the second round of the group stage in the Champions League: "Juventus is a very tough team, strong and hard working with a controlled system, an enormously talented midfielder, two fantastic strikers, and a goalkeeper with an enormous history", he commented.

We need goals from everyone on the team and recently it’s been happening

The Argentinian coach acknowledged the importance of the goal from Arda Turan that broke the tie: "The truth is that he’s having a very good year because he has scored important goals: the one against Madrid and one today’s. That is what we always demand. We need goals from everyone on the team and recently it’s been happening: Saúl, Koke, Jiménez, Raúl Garcia, Arda... it speaks to all the effort that Mandzukic is making up front to allow defenders to get away so the second line can move forward".

Simeone also valued positively his team’s effort to win the victory: "Juventus is possibly the strongest team of the group. Our team has had great game consistency in the last two matches and has been much more constant".
