Simeone: “We will continue doing our job and fighting until the end”

Our coach, Koke and Thomas spoke after Saturday’s 1-0 win at Ipurua.

Simeone analysed Saturday’s away win over Eibar.

“We started the game better and then they improved and were comfortable until the break. The second half was the opposite. We moved players around to see how we could hurt them with Lemar, Koke, Thomas. In a good play we managed to find the goal through Lemar, which will be good for him,” our coach said.

The Argentine claimed that our team will fight until the end, while praising Eibar.

“Eibar compete very well, they’re very dangerous. We will continue doing our job and fighting until the end,” Simeone said.

Koke expressed his happiness at winning at a difficult stadium.

“We are happy, especially about the result. The games at Ipurua are tough and Eibar compete very well, especially at their stadium. We earned the three points and competed until the end, which is what we usually do,” the Spaniard said.

Thomas was happy with the win, but urged our team to start thinking about the upcoming match against Valencia.

“We want to win the remaining games. Today we’re happy about the win, but now we have to start thinking about the next match,” our midfielder said.
