Simeone: “We were clinical in the first half”
The Argentine, Giménez and Llorente spoke after Saturday’s win in Stockholm.
Simeone analysed Saturday’s 2-1 win over Juventus.
“The new players are settling in better every day. Today Arias, Giménez and Thomas have returned to the team and there’s a healthy competitiveness. They’re all committed and looking to help the team. We still have things to improve. Today we were clinical in the first half,” the Argentine said.
Giménez spoke ahead of the upcoming season.
“Today’s game was tough. We’re feeling good about ourselves, but also have things to improve. I’m very excited about the challenge ahead. We have to continue in the same way: with hard work and team spirit,” our defender said.
Llorente was already looking forward for the beginning of LaLiga.
“We seek to win every match, that’s our goal. We’ve closed the pre-season with another win and now we can’t wait for the league to start,” the Spaniard said.
