Simeone: “We played well in the second half but were unable to score”
Our coach, Savic and Thomas spoke after Saturday’s game in Eibar.
Simeone reacted to Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Eibar.
“Ipurua has always been tough, even when we won here the games were tight. In the second half we played well. We played in the opposition’s half and chances to score, but were unable to convert,” our coach said.
Savic said that it was tough to play at Eibar’s stadium.
“Losing a game like this hurts. We had been playing well lately and tonight we had chances to score. It’s tough to play at Ipurua,” our defender said.
Thomas also spoke after the clash.
“We’ve got to keep working hard and improving as a team. The team has been competing well and we tried everything we could tonight,” our midfielder said.
