Simeone spoke following Sunday’s 1-0 win at Leganés.
“We needed to win and tried to do so in different ways. We changed things around and we won. Leganés never allows you to relax, they’re very strong at home” the Argentine said.
Vitolo was happy with the win.
“It was a tough and hard-fought match. Playing here is always difficult, we always suffer, because Leganés are a very tough team to beat. In the end we’re happy with the win and now we have to continue working in the same way,” our winger said.
Oblak also shared his thoughts after the game.
“This pitch is always very difficult, and we finally managed to win today. We suffered, but the most important thing is the three points. That’s what we came for,” our goalkeeper said.
