Simeone spoke following Sunday’s important win over Betis.
“I’m happy because we needed to win and continue improving. The players made a big effort throughout the game. The teams are competing very well in LaLiga. It’s very tough, especially away from home. We were clinical today. The main thing is to reach February and March in good shape,” our coach said.
Correa was happy following his fantastic performance, in which he collected a goal and an assist.
“I’m very happy. We knew it would be a very tough game, against a side that are playing very well. We knew we had to make a big effort from the first minute to earn the three points,” the Argentine said.
Herrera was also pleased with the performance and result.
"We knew we had to end the year well and enjoy the holidays in order to return with energy for the second half of the season. We worked hard and well and earned a very important result," the Mexican said.
