Simeone: "We have won a very important match for us"

To win on this field you need to play a great game and I think that we did it. In the first half, we went from less to more. After the first 20 minutes, we had clear scoring situations with Gaitán, Griezmann and Filipe Luis. Beyond the penalty saved by Oblak, with another great save, in the first half we created danger. In the second half we played a very good game. The team controlled the match and was forceful. We have won a very important match for us.”
In addition, Simeone spoke about the selection of the Wanda Metropolitano as the venue to host the 2019 Champions League final: "It is another very important step for the club. Hopefully we can continue accompanying the club’s growth from the field. We are making an enormous effort. We have played five away matches and the response has been positive.
