Simeone: “We have to start the game strongly”
Our coach and Thomas spoke ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League match against Liverpool.
Simeone on Tuesday evening previewed our upcoming Champions League last 16 clash against Liverpool.
“We have to start the game strongly. Anfield is a wonderful stadium in which Liverpool have earned historic results and tomorrow’s match will be extremely demanding. We’ll need to be very focused. If we take the game in the direction we want it to go, we can hurt them,” the Argentine said.
Thomas highlighted the importance of being focused from the beginning.
“Liverpool are doing really well this year and tomorrow’s match will be very tough for both sides. We’ll need to be 100% focused from the first minute. It’s a dream of mine to play against Liverpool at Anfield,” our midfielder said.
