Simeone: "We have to compete like we did in Copenhagen"
Our coach and Vitolo spoke to the press and spoke about Thursday's #UEL match against Copenhagen.
Before our return leg clash against FC Copenhagen in the Wanda Metropolitano, Vitolo and Diego Pablo Simeone spoke to the press.
“I came here to be important. I think every player needs to be that ambitious,” Vitolo said. “I try to learn from what the coach can teach me, so I can help the team in the best possible way.”
The first leg ended 1-4 in our favour and Thomas Partey played a great match in the Telia Parken Stadium.
"Thomas is having a fantastic season," our boss said. "Hopefully he can keep growing."
Simeone expects a difficult match and knows the lads will give it their 100 percent.
“We have to compete like we did in Copenhagen and advance [to the next round],” Simeone said. "We're going to play the team that will help us qualify."
