Simeone: "We have adapted very well to the needs of our first match"
The Argentinian manager appeared in the room of press of the Nemesio Díez after the tie against Toluca FC in the first match of the pre-season.
Diego Pablo Simeone began his press conference after the match against Toluca FC by thanking the Mexican people for their treatment these days. "I want to thank the welcome and the attention, whenever we come to Mexico they treat us spectacularly and we feel very well. What we have lived before the match has been very nice, very passionate. I think that our first friendly match went well enough, it’s not easy to play at Toluca’s altitude, we have adapted very well to the needs of our first fixture," he noted.
The Argentinian manager also took stock of the first match of the pre-season. "It’s the first game that we play, we need some time to get lose, but when someone enters the field, it’s to compete and I think that if there’s something that this team has it’s that it competes very well, whether it’s a friendly match or an official competition."
