Diego Pablo Simeone was satisfied at the press conference after winning the match in the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez against Getafe (0-1).

The Argentinian coach broke down Atlético’s win in the Madrid Derby: "In the first half we played a very good game which we controlled at all times. Until the sending off, the match was well run and in the last 30 minutes, the bravery of Getafe led them to play a very good match. What counts after the three games of the week is that we have won all three."

We live match-by-match, day-to-day

Simeone valued positively the importance of having closed a demanding week in the best way: "After playing three games we needed to win this week, it is not easy to win them without conceding a goal and scoring eight goals."

Finally, the Argentinian reaffirmed in his philosophy: "We live match-by-match and day-to-day. For us this was a very important outcome as a result of what's coming next week."
