Simeone: "The whole team played a very good game"
Our coach, Koke, Lucas and Arias spoke following Saturday's 3-0 win at Huesca.
Simeone praised our team's performance during Saturday's 3-0 away win against Huesca.
"The team played at a very good level during the whole 90 minutes. That gives us great excitement," the Argentine said.
Our coach also said that our team had played very well ever since the match in Seville.
"After the second half against Sevilla, we've competed very well in all the games we've played, generating many chances to score," Simeone said.
Koke celebrated his 400th official match for Atleti with a goal and an assist.
"The most important thing was to win away from home again. I'm very happy to have reached 400 games for my boyhood club and I hope to reach 400 more," our midfielder said.
Lucas Hernandez, who scored his first official goal for our team, spoke about his return to full fitness.
"I didn't play for a month, so it's great to have played 85 minutes today. I'm happy to have helped the team with a goal," the Frenchman said.
Arias also got his first goal for our club.
"It was a very special game for me because of the goal, but the most important thing is that I helped the team to get this win," our right-back said.
