Simeone: “The only way forward is working hard”

Simeone spoke after Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Valencia.
“In the first half we had chances down the flanks and played in their half of the pitch. In the second half it was the opposite as we only managed to attack them once through an Arias chance. The only way forward is working hard,” the Argentine said.
Koke analysed the team’s performance in the second half.
“In the second half they improved and we were unable to control the game like we wanted. We then went down to 10 men just as they scored. We will slowly improve,” our captain said.
Arias also shared his thoughts on the clash.
“We had the ball throughout the game and tried to play in the way we want to. In the end we earned a draw and one more point,” the Colombian said.
