Simeone stars to finalise preparation for the match against Valencia
All players in the first team, along with Oliver and Manquillo, trained finalising details for Sunday's match.
Atletico Madrid held the penultimate preparatory session ahead of the important game against Valencia. Simeone's men trained for about an hour and a half in the Majadahonda Sports City with an eye on this Sunday's league clash at the Vicente Calderon. Atletico started the day with twenty minutes of work in the gym then went out on to the grass under relentless rain, after letting up yesterday, the wet weather came back strongly and has been constant in training this week.
The Argentine coach could count on a full strength squad after Courtois, Falcao, Godin and Cristian Rodriguez rejoined the group on Thursday after international commitments. Manquillo and Oliver also worked with the first team, as they have done in previous sessions.
On the pitch the 'Professor' Ortega ordered different physical exercises with ball and then the coaching staff continued to work on the technical and tactic element to get in the best conditions to meet the Valencians.
On Saturday, Atletico Madrid finalise their preparation for the first game after the international break with a closed session in Majadahonda at 11:30.
