Simeone: “It’s exciting to face one of the best sides in the world”
The Argentine and Koke spoke ahead of our European opener at the Allianz Arena.
Simeone previewed Wednesday’s Champions League match against Bayern Munich.
“We try to improve, be consistent and solid. This will be the third time we face Bayern since 2016. It’s exciting to face one of the best sides in the world. We have to work well as a team and we’ll try to take the game in the direction we want it to go,” the Argentine said.
Koke also spoke ahead of our European opener.
“Bayern are always amongst the favourites to win the competition, but we always try to win, regardless of the game and the stadium in which we play. That’s what we’ll try to do tomorrow. We take things one game at a time,” our captain said.
