Simeone: "It was very important to get the win”
Our coach gave his thoughts on our win in the Estadio Benito Villamarín
Diego Pablo Simeone analyzed our difficult win in Seville against Real Betis.
“It was a difficult and tough match. Betis started off strongly, especially in the first 20 minutes,” he said. “But we responded well and began to seize control of the match.”
Betis dominated possession, but Simeone was content with the team’s play in the Estadio Benito Villamarín.
“Betis had the ball and tried to create chances, but we were very solid defensively,” Simeone continued. “For us, it was very important to get the win.”
