After our 0-1 win in Ipurua against Eibar, Diego Pablo Simeone spoke to the press.
"It was an important win against a very tough rival," Simeone said. "I think we played well in the first half and had chances after we scored. But with the 0-1, there's always a sense of danger."
Simeone recognized that Eibar stepped it up a notch in the second half.
"With the 0-1 in the second half, Eibar put the pressure on us," he said. "They're a good team, they play well."
Our next match is against Sevilla and Simeone is already preparing for that cup tie against the Andalusian side.
"Now, we have our Copa match against Sevilla," he said. "We have to keep doing what we're doing and we want to keep improving as a team."
