Simeone: "I'll take the work of the first half, which was very good"
Atlético’s coach analised at a press conference the tie between our team and the Valencia at the Vicente Calderón.
Diego Pablo Simeone assessed the match against Valencia (1-1) in the press conference rear that followed it: "We played a great first half. We played in the rival’s field, pressuring at their backs very well and won all the duels. It is a fair result but I'll take the work of the first half which was very good."
Simeone, asked after the starting eleven, said that "We play with the characteristics of Raúl and Fernando Torres to give depth to the team and more work in the centre of the field."
Simeone emphasized that the aim is to finish in the third place: "I think that the League is long and our championship, as we have always said, is competing against Valencia and Sevilla. We still have that one point off that we have to look after."
