We’re going to compete against two important rivals [in Singapore].”
Our debut will be on Thursday 26 July against Arsenal and on the 30th, we’ll face PSG.
“We always go game by game and it’s important to play well tomorrow against Arsenal.”
Lots of youngsters traveled with the squad to Singapore and Simeone is sure they’re enjoying this opportunity.
“It’s a beautiful experience for the youngsters to begin to feel what it’s like to compete with the first team.”
Lastly, our boss also spoke about our most recent signing Gelson Martins, who joined us on a five-year-deal.
"I feel the club is constantly growing in a strong maner and that's necessary for the growth of the team," he said. “Gelson is a lad who's constantly improving. We saw it last year and his characteristics can help us, He'll give us competitiveness on the right wing and offensively if we play with three up front.”
