Simeone: "Every match is difficult and there are no easy rivals"
Our coach, Koke and Lucas analysed Sunday's match at Montilivi, which ended in a 1-1 draw between Atleti and Girona.
Simeone on Sunday said that he was happy with our team's performance in the 1-1 draw against Girona.
“I liked how we played. In the first half we played the way we wanted to. We tried to make runs from the wings. In the second half we could have won the game. Every match is difficult and there are no easy rivals," our coach said.
Koke was also happy with the team's performance.
"We played at a great level today. We were unlucky in front of goal and we have to congratulate the team for the effort. We have to continue working like this and the wins will come," our midfielder said.
Lucas Hernandez also claimed that our team had dominated the game.
"We dominated the game from beginning to end. We knew they were dangerous on the break and in their only first-half chance they were awarded the penalty. We created many chances and were able to react to their goal," the Frenchman said.
