Simeone: “Borussia Dortmund are in great form”
Simeone and Saúl spoke to the press about Wednesday's match against Borussia Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park.
Diego Pablo Simeone on Tuesday highlighted the great start of the season that Borussia Dortmund are enjoying.
"We want to play a good game. Borussia Dortmund are playing very well and their fans help them a lot at home. They're top of the Bundesliga and that means that our rivals are in the best shape they've been in a long time. Tomorrow we will have to play with intelligence," the boss said.
Our coach also spoke about Diego Costa, who was given the medical green light earlier in the day.
"Diego's presence gives us physical and emotional strength. He was injured for a while and tomorrow we will see whether he's a starter or not. He's very excited, and when he's in this kind of state he also excites the fans, teammates and coaching staff," Simeone said.
Saúl Ñíguez also spoke before the press, claiming that the he was looking forward to experiencing the Signal Iduna Park's atmosphere.
"It motivates me a lot, but they also have to come to the Wanda Metropolitano. It will be a nice game, they're in great shape and we know how to hurt them," our midfielder said.
