Silvio: 'We have a great squad and we have to go to Bilbao for the three points'
'We've done more than the other teams to win our matches'
Silvio Manuel Azevedo Ferreira spoke at press conference of the groin injury that is keeping out of some games, the controversial penalty that Borbalán Fernandez gave last Sunday and the team's situation.
Silvio said of the injury: 'I'm working every day with the medical department to try to play as many games as possible.' He’s not considering going under the knife as a short term option to address this problem of groin injury. 'To operate the groin injury has to be grade 3 and I have a grade 2. We’re looking for a solution to play all the games.'
The red and white side is optimistic about the match against Athletic. He believes that 'we know we have a great squad and we have to go to Bilbao to bring home the three points.'
On the penalty last Sunday against Mallorca, Silvio said that 'I have a clear conscience because it was not a penalty. I did nothing to give away a penalty'.
He asked for a self-criticism and said that 'we have done more than other teams to win. We need to get the first victory to change everything.'
