The ‘rojiblanco’ Coliseum was the star of the show again. In recent years it’s been a regular port of call on the world tours of some of the biggest artist in the music world.  This year has been no different with Shakira choosing the Vicente Cadlerón Stadium to showcase her new material as well as her old favorites in her 'The Sun Comes Out – World Tour'
At just after 22.00 the Vicente Calderón exploded to the sound of Shakira’s first musical notes. The local Madrid group 84 opened the concert at 20.30 and the atmosphere in the stands had already begun to warm up, but the audience bust in to life at the sight and sound of their idol.  The powerful 400,000 watt lighting and 150 watts of sound did the rest. It was an unforgettable night and one that will be remembered for years to come in the spectacular venue of the Vicente Calderón.
  It’ll not be the only event happening this summer, with cars about to be the stars of the show in Los Monter Jam taking place on the 11th of June with the Vicente Calderón pitch turned in to a race track for what are considered to be the biggest and most powerful cars and trucks in the world. Also at the end of the month on the 30th of June, the stadium will host another competition demotor.
