Atlético B players Andrés, Miramón, Noguera and Gallegos train with the first squad
The Atlético de Madrid trained for a little over an hour in groups. In one area, the starters against Real Madrid held a regenerative work session in the gym, while the rest warmed up on the pitch where Atlético de Madrid B play their matches. Later, this group headed to the gym to work out and returned to the pitch later to continue the practice.
Sergio Agüero didn’t train with his teammates due to a light flu. He attended the Sports Complex but left early. Goalkeepers Joel, Asenjo and Andrés did specific work with goalkeeping coach Emilio Álvarez. Atlético B players Andrés, Miramón, Noguera and Gallegos worked out with the first squad.
Those who practiced on the pitch did physical drills, then did ball possession-control exercises, and finished up with attacking-defending work with goalkeepers. On one side was the defence, formed by Perea, Pulido, Juanito and Antonio López, with Assunçao and Camacho in front, and an attacking line formed by Raúl García, Miramón, Noguera, Fran Mérida, Gallegos and Diego Costa.
