Sergio Camello makes first team debut against Levante
The Spaniard made his first team debut during Saturday’s match at the Ciutat de Valencia, in which he scored the equaliser.
Sergio Camello made his first team debut during Saturday's LaLiga game against Levante at the Ciutat de Valencia. The Spaniard came on for Thomas in the 46th minute and scored the equaliser towards the end of the match.
The Spaniard was very happy after the match.
“I try to help the team and today and did just that. I’m deeply moved. I can score goals and I proved that today. I would like to become a legend at this club, like any kid, especially Atleti fans. I’m very happy,” the 18-year-old said.
Although it was Camello’s first official game for Atleti, the 18-year-old had already been part of Simeone's pre-season squad.
