WEEK 31 | REAL MADRID - ATLÉTICO DE MADRID

Seeking to continue the streak in a Bernabéu

Simeone’s players have won five consecutive games in LaLiga and have also won the last three matches played in this competition at the white coliseum.

After racking up five consecutive wins in the national championship, Atlético de Madrid visits this Saturday the Santiago Bernabéu, which they have managed quite well in the last seasons, since they have won the three away games played against Real Madrid: by 0-1 in the 13/14 season; by 1-2 in the 14/15; and again by 0-1 in the 15/16, with Antoine Griezmann's goal.

The French forward is our team’s top scorer so far this year, having scored 22 goals in all competitions. At a personal level, Atlético’s '7' is also on a roll when playing Real Madrid, since he links four consecutive seasons scoring against them: in 12/13 and in 13/14 as a player for Real Sociedad and in next two as an Atlético player.

But it will not only be Griezmann the one posing a threat to the white goal, as Filipe Luis has recently shown, scoring against Málaga and Real Sociedad, both times assisted by Torres. Oblak’s goal is almost unbeatable too, having conceded only one goal in the last five weeks.
