Saúl, nominated for "Best Newcomer of the 2013-14 BBVA League"

The Professional Football League (LFP) announced this Monday the three candidates for "Best Newcomer of the 2013-14 BBVA League". Our home-grown player, Saúl Níguez earned a place within the three finalists in his own right thanks to the great season he had last year during his loan to Rayo Vallecano.
This candidacy joins the ones we already knew about players such as Thibaut Courtois, Miranda and Filipe Luis, Gabi, and Koke, fighting for the awards of Best Goalkeeper, Best Defender, Best Midfielder, and Best Offensive Midfielder respectively, of last season’s League.
