Reyes, Tiago and Diego Godín return to the roster to face Deportivo
Valera and Fran Mérida stay in Madrid through coach’s decision
Atlético de Madrid held their final training before taking on Deportivo in a session that was open to the media for the first half-hour.
The team began with a warm-up and then moved into possession games, while De Gea and Joel did specific work with Emilio Alvarez. Before closing the practice to the media, the ‘rojiblancos’ did some group work and then played a practice match.
After the session, Quique Sánchez Flores released the matchday roster. The changes with respect to last week lie in the return of Tiago and Reyes after having sat out the suspensions which kept them out against Levante. Also returning is Godín, who has recovered from his injury. Valera and Fran Mérida were left off the list through coach’s decision. Alberto Noguera and Borja will return to the reserve squad after being in the list last weekend.
