Red and white victory at the Calderón
Our team achieved the first League win (2-1) of the season in a vibrant duel against an Eibar that fought back throughout the game.

2-0. 24’. Mandžukić shoots a side foul bounced by captain Gabi to the net.
2-1 33’. Arruabarrena shortens distances with a shot from outside the box against which Moyá can do nothing.
First League match at the Vicente Calderón and first victory for our guys. Our team beat a very combative and fighting Eibar thanks to two set piece goals. Miranda put our team ahead with a header from a corner kick, and then Mandžukić made his debut as a scorer in the League with a shot from an excellently bounced foul by Gabi. Later, Arruabarrena shortened distances with a tremendous shot from outside of the box. In the second half the two teams tried to score more goals, but the scoreboard didn’t move.
