Raúl Jiménez: "I need to take advantage of the confidence Simeone gives me"
The Mexican international noted at the press conference that he is fighting for a spot in the starting eleven, but it's not a simple task due to the immense quality of his teammates.
The red and white striker commented to the media that the team needs to maintain the same line of work and play, fighting for every ball as if it were the last to win the victory. "We need to think solely about what we do. We must take the field as we always do: with intensity, wanting to win and to earn the three points. We intend to continuing doing things as we have been doing them", he said.
Raúl Jiménez also mentioned that the changing room is very good because everyone is heading in the same direction to repeat the success of last season. "During the past year, it was demonstrated that the team can compete with anyone. We're at the top and now we need that boost to get even higher. We want to continue to give our all.
