Pre-season comes to an end as Atleti face Juventus
Our team faces the Italian champions in Stockholm in the third game of the 2019 International Champions Cup. It will be our sixth and final match of the pre-season.
Atleti travel to Sweden for the sixth and last game of the pre-season. Simeone’s men will face Juventus on Saturday in the third match of the 2019 International Champions Cup. The game is to be played at Stockholm’s Friends Arena at 6 pm CET.
Our team kicked off the pre-season on July 4, and Saturday’s test will be our last stop before the first LaLiga match, in which we will host Getafe on Aug. 18.
In our previous two ICC games, we earned a penalty shootout win against Chivas and a 7-3 victory over Real Madrid. We also won against Numancia, the MLS All-Stars and Atlético de San Luis in what has so far been a fantastic pre-season.
Juventus, who recently won their eighth straight Serie A title, recorded a defeat and a win in their previous two ICC matches, in which they faced Tottenham Hotspur and Inter Milan.
