Perea: “Our objective is to reach the goals we’ve set for ourselves”
“The best thing I’ve experienced at Atleti are my seven years here”
Luis Amaranto Perea responded to the questions from the journalists who attended the Estadio Vicente Calderón VIP Room to see firsthand the announcement of his one-year contract extension. The Colombian is happy and pleased to extend his stay at Atlético de Madrid. “I’m the Colombian with the highest number of games played at a team as grand as this one. This is reason for happiness and motivation.”
The Colombian international made it very clear that “besides personal goals, amongst the group objectives is to continue to reach the goals that we’ve set for ourselves.”
With respect to his best moment at Atlético de Madrid, Perea was emphatic: “the best moment has been the seven years that I’ve been here. I’d stick with the seven years of life together, and the fact that they’ve provided me with a lot on a personal level. I still have many things to contribute to this team and I have to keep working.”
