The Royal Spanish Football Federation’s Competition Committee has sanctioned Club Atlético de Madrid player Paulo Assunçao with a one-match suspension after he was booked for a foul constituting dangerous play during the course of the game against Levante. Therefore, the ‘rojiblanco’ central midfielder will not be able to play with his squad in the upcoming La Liga fixture in which Altético will take on Deportivo.
