Our Stadium will host the 2nd Edition of Champions For Life
The Vicente Calderón will host a match between two teams, East against West, where all the clubs from the first and second divisions will be represented. Tickets cost 5€.
The Vicente Calderón hosted on Thursday morning the presentation of the second edition of the Champions for Life match, which will be played at our stadium on December 29th, at 19:00. Tickets will have the symbolic price of 5€ and can be purchased on www.entradas.com.
The Champions for Life match will be played in Madrid for the second consecutive year, and a multitude of professional football players will unite for a solidarity goal. This year's format will consist of two teams from the LFP playing against each other, the East (white shirts) against the West (blue shirts), where all the clubs from the BBVA League and the Adelante League are represented.
This initiative is the result of a collaboration agreement signed in September 2013 between UNICEF’s Spanish Committee and the FFP. The proceeds will go by UNICEF’s Spanish Committee for underprivileged children, and by the LFP, for social purposes through their Foundation.
Along with Enrique Cerezo, the event was presided by Juan José Almargo, Vice President of UNICEF’s Spanish Committee; Yolanda García, Sports Director of TVE; Ana Muñoz, CEO of CSD Sports; and Javier Tebas, President of the Professional Football League.
