New Champions League game at the BayArena
The European competition is back as we take on Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday at 9pm CET.
The Champions League is back for our team after our LaLiga win against Celta at the Cívitas Metropolitano. The match, corresponding to the second matchday of the group stage of the top continental competition, will take place this Tuesday at 9pm.
With the BayArena as the stage, our team will visit Germany to face Bayer Leverkusen in what will be our first European away game of the season. With three points in our locker thanks to the late win against FC Porto thanks to a goal by Griezmann in the last play of the game, the German team will be our first European rival away from the Cívitas Metropolitano this season.
The Germans, who occupy fifteenth place in the Bundesliga after having shared points with Hertha in their last match, lost 1-0 against Brugge in the opening matchday of the Champions League at the Jan Breydelstadion.
