Must-win game against Chelsea
In order to have any chance to qualify for the Champions League Round of 16, Atlético must beat Chelsea in Stamford Bridge.
The last match of the 2017/18 Champions League group stage is here and Atlético must beat Chelsea in order to have any options of advancing to the next round.
In the past five matches, Atlético have won four and drawn the other. In those games, the team scored 12 goals and conceded just once.
"Our confidence is totally different now. We had a lot of ties and now everyone is playing better," Filipe Luis said.
Chelsea handed Atlético their only loss of the season and are currently top of the group. In their last Premier League match, they soundly beat Newcastle 3-1. On the other hand, Atlético beat Real Sociedad 2-1 in an epic thriller in the Wanda Metropolitano.
Qualifying for the next round isn't going to be easy, but the team believes it's possible and is going for the win in tomorrow's match.
"It's important for us to win these big games," Simeone said.
