Álvaro Morata had to be substituted in the first half of the match played at the Sánchez Pizjuán against Sevilla. On Monday morning he underwent an MRI scan to determine the extent of the injury and the medical services report indicates that he suffers "a bone contusion and sprain of the internal lateral ligament of his right knee". He is awaiting further treatment.
