MATCH PREVIEW | REAL MADRID - ATLÉTICO DE MADRID

Mission: Madrid Derby

Our team visits the city neighbours at 9pm CET on Sunday.

Atleti gear up for the Madrid Derby as we visit the Santiago Bernabéu on Sunday at 9pm CET.

Our team arrives at the big LaLiga matchday 17 fixture following the midweek epic 3-1 win at FC Porto in the Champions League. The goals from Griezmann, Correa and De Paul earned us a spot in the competition’s round of 16. We also picked up all three points in our previous away fixture in LaLiga – a resounding 4-1 win at Cádiz.

Ancelotti’s side are also enjoying a positive run of form. They beat Inter Milan in their midweek Champions League fixture and are the current LaLiga leaders. Their home record is impressive, having won five games and drawn two out of their seven matches at the Santiago Bernabéu. The last one was a 1-0 success over Athletic Club.

Atleti and Real Madrid last met in March at the Wanda Metropolitano. The game ended 1-1 as Suárez and Benzema were the goalscorers.
