The Brazilian centre-back acknowledged that "it's not normal to concede five goals in the last two matches. We're working to improve on that. We're hoping it will not happen again".

Regarding Wednesday's match, he commented that against Almería "it's three important points because we cannot distances ourselves from Barcelona. But we need to think match-by-match, not think of Barcelona and do think about us".

He stressed that "I believe the fans are happy with the team. We are sure that everything we do is for the good of the team. We need to have the mind-set that we do every possible thing to try to win".

Regarding his teammate Raúl Jiménez, Miranda said "he's a good kid and he's calm. Whoever whistles at him today can applaud him in the next matches. It happened to me and other teammates like Godín and Raúl García. And soon after, we were cheered by the fans. We must be patient because the affection of the fans is won with your work".

In two or three matches, we'll be much better and we'll win again shortly

Regarding the defensive solidity that the team has always shown, Miranda said, "I think that during the start of the season, we're still regrouping a bit because important players have left the team. It's normal for this to happen when players change. We've played great matches such as the one against Real Madrid, and other matches not so good, like the one against Eibar. But it's normal and it will happen this early in the season. In two or three matches, we'll be much better and we'll shortly win again".

He asks for patience for the future because "when we defend, we all do it, from the forwards to the defenders. And when there is a lot of change, you get out of tune, but it's a matter of work and time".

And to have three goals scored in the League from centre-backs, two from Miranda and one from Godín, he commented, "when we defend, we all defend and we all need to attack and try to help. We're working to make a stronger team. It's a matter of time".

Finally, Miranda stood up for his goalkeeping teammates, "the change of goalkeeper does not affect us. Both goalkeepers have an enormous quality, a high standard and I'm sure they'll help plenty", he replied.
